It comes with a bolt-less designed canopy which along with seamless appearance minimises the canopy deterioration. Placing the silencer inside the canopy ensure saving on space and make it more aesthetic. SPECIAL PROJECTS
The Power Generation – Special Projects segment caters to the project-based business and offers power solutions to the customised requirements of Defence applications, Nuclear, Marine and Industrial power plants.
The DG sets are manufactured at the Nashik facility, which is certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, and comply with the latest norms of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB-II).
The DG sets offered comply with the stringent norms viz. the CQAL, JSS-55555 standards for Defence and Seismic qualifications for nuclear projects.
It meets the global standards for application engineering, contract management, manufacturing, testing and after-sales service of DG sets and aims at Customer Satisfaction through Quality, Performance and Reliability.
- Kirloskar manufactures and supplies DG sets ranging from 2 kW to 1010 kVA for various Defence (Army, Navy & Air Force) land-based projects.
- Kirloskar also supplies engines for new construction equipment and retrofitments on existing equipment used by the Indian Army and Air Force operating at extreme conditions
- Kirloskar gensets are suitable for operation in extreme weather conditions, such as high altitudes of 4000+ metres and -25 degrees C, especially for defence applications.
- Kirloskar Marine Gensets are specially designed for marine duty for various vessels, including Defence, Commercial & Ferry boats. With the option of Air Cooled & Liquid cooled engines, these DGs are best suited for on-deck / Engine room installations. Ranging from 18 kVA to 625 kVA, Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited – Marine DGs are available in 50 as well as 60 Hz variants. All the offered Engines are class-approved by the IRS & select nodes with ABS.
